Physician Assistant/Program Director PA Program, Baldwin Wallace University
I've been a PA for over 20 years working in neurology, bone marrow transplant, and primary care. While I maintain some level of clinical practice as a primary care PA, I transitioned to academia in 2009. In 2012, I came to BW as a founding faculty member and transitioned to the program director/chair role in 2022. I've taught the clinical medicine series, pathophysiology, and bioethics for many years. In my role as program director, I teach a little less but continue to deliver lectures in courses throughout the curriculum. I also serve as the admissions chair. Given the fact that the program receives anywhere from 600 - 900 applications annually, creating a streamlined process has been essential. My academic credentials include a B.S. in Biology, MSHS, MBA, and I am currently working on my PhD in Leadership in Higher Education.
