Associate Dean and Program Director

Dr. Curt Stilp is the Associate Dean of the College of Medical Science and the Director of both the Masters of Medical Science (MMSc) PA program and the Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) program. He has been in PA education for 18 years working at three different PA programs holding various roles. Prior to coming to George Fox, Curt was the Director of the Oregon Area Health Education Center (AHEC). As AHEC Director, Curt ran an interprofessional AHEC Scholars program designed to prepare health profession students in caring for rural and underserved communities as a member of a health care team.

Curt began his health care career as a Registered Nurse and graduated from Rosalind Franklin University’s PA program in 2001. He has worked as a PA in general orthopedics with experience in spinal deformity surgery. He completed his Doctorate of Education in education leadership at Portland State University with research interests in Interprofessional Education (IPE), rural student training, and health professional workforce development.
