PA-S2

I am a second-year Physician Associate (PA) student at Fairleigh Dickinson University, committed to developing my clinical skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care. My journey into the medical field began during my undergraduate studies in Biology at Montclair State University, where I cultivated a strong foundation in the biological sciences and developed a passion for healthcare.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I am ethnically Syrian, which has given me a unique cultural perspective and a deep appreciation for diversity. My decision to pursue a career as a PA was driven by my desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives through direct patient care. For me, it’s not just about providing care but also about the empathetic aspect of healthcare.
My experiences at Camp Nejeda for Children with Type 1 Diabetes and participating in organizing a Thanksgiving dinner event at Women's Shelter along with other community and patient centered experiences have further driven my commitment to delivering high quality care as a clinician.

I am eager to be involved in organizations like the Muslim Association of Physician Assistants. Being Treasurer of MAPAS would allow me to connect with like-minded professionals who share similar cultural and religious values, fostering a supportive community. It would also provide opportunities to engage in outreach and advocacy efforts that align with my passion for serving underserved communities and promoting health equity.

I am eager to continue my education and training to become a competent and compassionate Physician Associate, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of my patients.
