Don Diemer is a PA and has served as the Program Director for the Southern Illinois University (SIU) PA Program for the past 14 years and is the founder of the DMSc program at SIU. Dr. Diemer serves on the Illinois State Medical Board and practices in a rural FQHC. Dr. Diemer was a PA in the USAF and served on active duty for 24 years. Dr. Diemer previously served as president of the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants and was a member of the AAPA HOD for several years. He received a BS in PA studies from the USAF PA program, an MS in PA studies from the University of Nebraska, and a Doctor of Health Science degree from AT Still University.
